About me
I was born in Istanbul in 1963 and spent my formative years completing my education within the enchanting embrace of my hometown. From elementary through high school,
I attended the German School, immersing myself in both academic rigor and cultural diversity.

Upon graduating from high school, I embarked on a journey of higher learning, initially pursuing a degree in Business Administration at Istanbul University from 1983 to 1989. More recently, I took advantage of the COVID-19 pandemic to further enrich my academic credentials by completing a degree in History at the same university, validating my long-standing passion and experience in the field.

It was during my time at university that I ventured into the realm of tourism, obtaining my license as a state-certified tour guide in 1986. Since then, I've proudly served as a dedicated member of the Istanbul Tourist Guide Association (IRO), channeling my passion for my city and its history into providing enriching experiences for visitors.

Fluent in both German and English, I extend my services to cater to the needs of diverse groups exploring the wonders of Turkey.

Beyond my professional pursuits, I also find fulfillment in my personal life.
I am happily married with two adult children, and the joy of being a grandfather to two young grandchildren adds an extra sparkle to my days.
